For our 40th anniversary, we want to capture 40 stories from past customers, members of Team Marshall, and industry partners. We spoke with Chelsea Marshall, an incredible team member who demonstrates the highest level of care for our customers. Chelsea shares some of her favorite things about being on the team and working with our customers, and we’re excited to share what she had to say about working with Marshall.

How long have you worked at Marshall? What was your previous role and what are you doing now?

“I have been working at Marshall for 9 years. My initial role was as a permit coordinator. Currently, I work closely between the office administration, sales, and production departments. I coordinate appointments, direct calls to the right department and enter project data. I communicate between sales and production to ensure that details on contracts are accurate and clear for the next steps, ordering and scheduling.”

What do you think makes working at a family company so special?

“I think working at a family company is special because it’s a more close knit community. I’ve found that the overall focus of my family’s business has been dedication, collaboration, and establishing strong connections between employees, homeowners, and vendors alike. I think that’s been the secret to our success the past 40-years, great overall teamwork and treating other as our own family.”

What do you think makes Marshall stand out in this industry?

“Marshall stands out in this industry for its integrity, great warranties, and extremely talented, hard-working and kind employees. We also always answer the phone, which is hard to come by nowadays.”

In your own words, what do you think makes a great contractor?

“A great contractor is one who is honest, listens compassionately to the needs of the client & does exactly what they say they’re going to do. That’s what creates a solid foundation for good work relationships, repeat customers, and even referrals.”

What’s one of your favorite memories from being here at Marshall?

“I’m not sure if I can pinpoint one memory in particular, as there are so many, but one my favorite things about working here are the friendships I’ve made with my coworkers.”
