What to Expect During a Vinyl Siding Installation

Cream Vinyl Siding Installed MA Home by Marshall Building & Remodeling

With its beautiful versatility, Vinyl siding has become one of the most popular home products available in the market. Vinyl siding is durable, easy to install and replace, relatively maintenance-free, simple to clean, doesn’t require frequent painting, and on top of it all, it’s comparatively inexpensive.

If you’ve decided to make the leap and have vinyl siding installed on your home, here is what you can expect during the vinyl siding installation process.

Free Estimate

Before we’re even hired, provide every homeowner with a free estimate. We’ll send out a team member to evaluate your home, provide feedback, and give recommendations. Afterwards we can provide a free estimate for the different options that are right for your home including siding and trim. During this time, you’ll get to know us and see if we’re a good fit for your needs.

Hiring

After we’ve completed the hiring process, we’ll have you fill out a worksheet that advises our team of your specific needs. Do you have pets; if so what are their names and how can we make them feel comfortable? Should we avoid certain areas in or around your home? These are just some of the questions that help us remain respectful of your property and your privacy.

Home Preparation

As vinyl siding craftsmen, it’s essential that we prepare your home appropriately before starting the installation job. This assures that we do it right from the start and can perform a quality job that exceeds your expectations. Preparation includes removing lawn furniture and ornaments that might obstruct the job, removing light fixtures, and window shutters.

Installation

During the vinyl siding installation, we’ll have a dedicated project foreman on-site to keep you informed, answer your questions, and monitor for the highest quality of craftsmanship.

You can expect our crew to be respectful, clean, and organized around your home. Our crew works efficiently with care and has been known to go the extra mile for our clients. They are especially respectful of your landscaping, pets, children, and your privacy.

Our crew will start by removing your old clapboards and replacing any rotten boards or wood. Next, insulation will be installed before finally moving on to the fresh siding. After our vinyl craftsmen properly install the siding, they’ll finish off the installation with superior trim detailing. The final touches include touching up the vinyl and cleaning up the workspace.

Follow Up

After the installation is complete, we’ll follow up with you to make sure everything is to your satisfaction and answer any additional questions you may have about your beautiful new vinyl siding.

Installing vinyl siding is a relatively easy procedure for an experienced contractor. At Marshall Building and Remodeling, we want the installation process to go as smoothly as possible for our clients and their families. We take extra care to cater to your family’s needs while we work; your satisfaction is our highest priority.
